Disaster Recovery – What to do When Best Practice Won’t Work

Best practice in security and disaster recovery is of course the goal, but what can businesses do when best practice isn’t practical or feasible?  

Kevin Green, Data Recovery Expert, recently joined us to discuss the importance of following the best practice 3-2-1-1-0 strategy for data recovery, and what you can do if this simply isn’t feasible for your organisation yet. 

In this short four-minute video he explains what the 3-2-1-1-0 data recovery strategy is and the differences between tape and immutable storage (and when you should use each). 

He also runs through some minimum provisions he would put in place to meet insurance and security requirements (although as always, check the small print of any insurance contracts!)
