Clifford Chance | Microsoft Endpoint Manager

Clifford Chance LLP is a multinational law firm with 34 offices across 23 countries, one of the ten largest law firms in the world and a member of the “Magic Circle” of leading British law firms.

Challenge

Clifford Chance wanted to make sure they were making the most of their existing Microsoft technology, using what they had more effectively and efficiently to reduce risk, streamline costs and see ROI from their existing tech and IT investments.

With office and teams based globally, working on sensitive legal information, security, efficiency and a high-level of control over devices is vital to reduce risk and enable end users to work effectively and productively.

They required further functionality of System Center Configuration Manager (now Microsoft Endpoint Config Manager) to support with the management and deployment of Windows 10 Operating System builds.

Solution

We helped Clifford Chance update their current deployment of Microsoft Endpoint Manager to the newer current branch edition. As a result they were able to begin utilising the more advanced features of Endpoint Manager, which combines services such Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, Desktop Analytics, co-management, and Windows Autopilot.

These services are part of the Microsoft 365 stack to help secure devices, manage access, protect data, and respond and manage risk.

Benefits

One of our specialisms is helping customers get ROI from their existing Microsoft tech investments, helping them to manage, configure and update what they already have to use it more efficiently. Often this can result in reducing costs elsewhere or getting rid of third-party products altogether once they’re able to fully utilise what they’ve already invested in and have available in-house.

Clifford Chance were able to see more ROI from their current deployment of Microsoft Endpoint Manager, using it to more effectively manage their Windows 10 Operating System builds as well as managing the patches and applications.

They’re now able to:

  • centralise device management for efficient management
  • take advantage of simplified admin controls
  • have increased control and visibility over security and devices across their IT estate
  • better control of patching and applications, reducing security and financial risks.
